Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Filter Change Instructions

A Kinetico Drinking Water System is a great investment for your home, but only if the filters are changed on a regular basis.  Changing the filters ensures your family will have high quality drinking water for years to come.  With a Kinetico Drinking Water System, it will shut down at approximately 500 gallons of water used so you get the full use of your filters.  To gauge when the filters will need to be changed, on the K5 and GX/VX models, find the Purmometer on top of the unit.  As water is used, the purmometer indicator progresses down and gets near 1 dot, when this occurs it is likely your filters will need to be changed soon.

NOTE: If you are changing your filters on your own, make sure to have your reverse osmosis water and kitchen tap water tested for total dissolved solids.  This will indicate if the membrane needs to be changed.  The membrane is not changed with every filter change.

Match your system with the picture and the filter change directions follow.  If you need further assistance and/or instruction or would like our company to change the filters, contact us.
